MARVEL STUDIOS picks Oscar Issac as Moon Knight - Full breakdown

Today has been a great day for Marvel. Moon Knight A.K.A. Marc Spector in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been cast and it's none other than Oscar Isaac, (Poe Dameron from the Star Wars Universe). Now, there were a lot of rumors going around this morning that maybe Nick Kroll or Daniel Radcliffe could be playing the role of Marc Spector, but quickly after Deadline reported that Marvel Studios has tapped Oscar Isaac to play the role of Marc Spector AKA Moon Knight in the upcoming Disney+ Moon Knight MCU show. This report is legit but let's go over the article and look into exactly what they said as we can see here right on their website.

Oscar will star as the title character in the Disney+ Series

It says,

Now that the Star Wars franchise coming to an end, Oscar Isaac now sets his sights on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is in negotiations to star as Moon 

Knight in the Marvel and Disney Plus series based on the comic book hero.

They go on to say,

Jeremy Slater who developed and wrote Netflix's comic book adaptation of The Umbrella Academy Series, has been roped in, to develop and lead the writing team, on the series, for the streamer.

And if you're not 100% sure who Moon Knight is? Here is what you need to know:

Moon Knight AKA Marc Spector is a mercenary, who has numerous alter egos: - Cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire Playboy Steven Grant. In order, to better fight the criminal underworld. But later, he was established as being a conduit, for the Egyptian Moon-God Khonshu. Most recently, in the comics, the character was a consultant who dresses in all white and goes by the name -- Mr. Knight. 

So this is going to be a very interesting role for Oscar Isaac to play a character who battles mental illness.

Moon Knight suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder

Suffering from multiple personality disorders, he takes on many different personas, as you just heard in the book. Oscar Isaac is a phenomenal actor, with a ton of range. So I'm sure it won't be that big of a problem for him to take on this character. The news does however say that Marvel Studios has tapped Oscar Isaac and the negotiations are underway. So the contracts are not 100% complete. However, this is who Marvel Studios is interested in, they're already talking to him. And as soon as they work out all the numbers, this should be our Moon Knight
So unless something crazy happens over the next couple of weeks Oscar Isaac is going to be playing Marc Spector AKA Moon Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the Star Wars Universe to the MCU.
